Monday, May 6

CDSBEO	Board-wide Mass St. Philip Neri Church 282 County Rd. 8, Toledo 11:00 a.m.
Notre Dame CHS	Positive messages posted on school lockers (post it notes), put on before students arrive. Music between classes.
St. Andrew’s Catholic School	Christian Meditation Practice Each class will learn the ancient practice of Christian Meditation as a method of calming our minds and bodies and allowing God to be present in our lives. Wall of Kindness (Prayer) Each student will be asked to write a prayer or intention that will be added to the Wall of Kindness.
St. Francis Xavier CHS	I Hope – Quilt activity 8:00 am Fill in and colour, write respectful comment about their hopes.
St. John Paul II Catholic School	Liturgy 10:00 am School gym *Whole school sings: We are Made for Love
St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School	Connections program – Grade 7/8 students will visit St. Lawrence College to get a perspective of post-secondary education. Treat and a positive message: High school students will deliver a sweet treat to Sacred Heart students to foster community. Positivity announcements during morning announcements. Mental Health PowerPoint in main hall.
St. Mary Catholic School, Chesterville	Build a flower shrine for Mary (Month of May)
St. Mary Catholic High School	At lunch time (10:35 am) in the main foyer, students will be writing and posting (on our display wall) messages of HOPE. Treats will be given out to students in celebration of the start of the week. • Throughout the week classes will sign up for outdoor clean-up, to focus on our actions as Stewards of the Earth • Throughout the week Gr 7-12 students will be writing messages of HOPE to go on the HOPE wall
St. Michael CHS	Well-being pop-up: calming meditation for students (12 minutes)
St. Peter Catholic School	“Mindfulness Monday” – a whole school Christian meditation with a follow-up discussion of gratitude in each class.

Tuesday, May 7

Holy Trinity CSS	Ryan’s Well Foundation Presentation – Ryan Hreljac Time TBD Library or Chapel
Notre Dame CHS	Welcoming committee made up of students and staff, to welcome students as they arrive for the day. School Mass 8:30 am School gym
J.L. Jordan Catholic School	Outdoor Education at Mac Johnson Conservation Area Kelly McGann will be leading Kindergarten students through workshops on Spring Awakenings, 9:30 – 12:00 pm
St. Andrew’s Catholic School	First Communion Celebration The grade 2 students celebrated their First Communion on April 28th. The 1/2 and 2/3 classes will be celebrating this special experience in their classes today with a party. Wall of Kindness (Self-Compassion Day) Each student will be asked to write something that they like about themselves that will be added to the Wall of Kindness.

St. Mary Catholic School, Chesterville	As People of Faith Reveal or Kindness Tree: Students share acts of kindness shared & witnessed… Kindness Grows here!
St. Mary Catholic School, Carleton Place	Open House 5:00 – 7:00 pm *for all of our new families joining the school next year
St. Mary Catholic High School	Celebrating the month of Mary at St. Mary’s: decade of the rosary will be done over announcements at 8:00 am Grade 6 Visit: Scavenger hunt around the school to welcome them to St. Mary, with a sit down lunch made by our Hospitality class, fostering relationship building with our feeder school.
St. Michael Catholic High School	May, Month of Mary: Specific classes go to the chapel to learn about and how to pray the Rosary Heart Activity – All classes during P1, complete their section of the heart which is collected and placed on the main heart in the foyer.
St. Peter Catholic School	“Wall of Awesome” – each student will write something loving about another person in their class on a colourful paper. These papers will be displayed in our front foyer.

St. Anne Catholic School	I Belong Here Day 1:00-3:00 pm Staff will plan an activity of their choice (ex: baking, coding, painting) and students will sign up for the activity based on their interest. This will be a reminder of what we enjoy doing and things that bring us joy, which can improve or maintain our mental health and wellness.
St. Francis Xavier Catholic School	Welcome to Kindergarten Event 10:00-11:00 am
St. Francis Xavier CHS	Environmental video, yard clean up, colouring contest 12:50 pm Students will watch environmental video and discuss impact of our actions on the world. Some classes will do yard clean up and some will colour.
St. John Catholic Elementary School	Constable Solf of the Ontario Provincial Police Canine Unit will be attending St. John’s Catholic Elementary School during Catholic Education Week with his furry partners, Chip and Haze, to provide our students with a brief demonstration and discussion on what they do as a team to keep our communities safe. (morning) Jump Rope for Heart, Kick Off Assembly (afternoon)
St. John Paul II Catholic School	Theme – Kindness We will have whole school kindness projects and take pictures with our Kindness wall.
St. Joseph Catholic School, Gananoque	CEW School Mass at St. John The Evangelist Parish 10:00 am Special CEW awards to be given out at the Mass
St. Joseph’s Catholic Secondary School	Student Trustee Youth Symposiums – online Grade 7/8 yoga with Mme. Desjardins Mental Health Champions snack give away at lunch. Positivity announcements during morning announcements. Mental Health PowerPoint in main hall.

St. Mary Catholic School, Chesterville	As People of Mercy: School Wide Rosary Continue with Flower Shrine and Kindness Tree Activities
St. Mary Catholic School, Carleton Place	Yoga and sound healing sessions for all students 12:00 – 2:00 pm *focus on mental health and well being
St. Mary CHS	Throughout the day the grade 7/8s will be making notes/letters for a local nursing home, spreading positivity (hope, love, joy – will be the focus) CEW Province-Wide Mass 11:00 am
St. Michael CHS	Positive affirmations posted to lockers for when students arrive in the morning. Students will participate in creating a digital collage of words/images (as a class) that represent kindness and generosity. Each class will share their collage to create one giant collage to be posted on the school’s social media.
St. Peter Catholic School	“Wellness Wednesday” – words of affirmation for each student followed by a walk to the Grotto for a Living Rosary at 10:00 am. (If raining will move to gym)

St. Michael CHS	Canned food “blitz” and casual day for local food banks. Grade 7 immersion classes to Holy Cross to make crafts with Kindergarten students.
St. Peter Catholic School	“Thoughtful Thursday” – begins with all students watching a video regarding emotional regulation. this is followed by a discussion in class. Students will then share joy by creating cards for nursing home residents.

Friday, May 10

Holy Trinity CSS	Outdoor walk with the Stations of the Cross – weather permitting. Time TBD
Notre Dame CHS	Athletic council BBQ and outdoor activities at lunch for all students.
St. Andrew’s Catholic School	CWL/Knights of Columbus Visit 11:15am Grade 3/4 class Good News Assembly 3:00 pm in the gym (everyone is welcome) Wall of Kindness (Warm Fuzzy) Each student will be asked to write a nice message to someone in the school that will be added to the Wall of Kindness.

St. Joseph CSS	Joey’s Talent Show (students) The St. Joseph’s Joey Awards is an event where students dress up as though their going to the Oscars, and provides an opportunity for them to showcase their amazing talents. Each grade has various awards voted on by the students, ranging from best hair, best student, to brightest smile. 11:30 am School gym

St. Michael Catholic High School	Dreamwalkers video/workshop (35 minutes): strategies for managing stress and anxiety. Well-Being Pop-Up: Managing Anxiety
St. Peter Catholic School	“Friday Feels” – A whole school moment of prayer. Each teacher will ask students what most stood out to them during the week, followed by a park visit and outdoor yoga. Primary students will begin at the park in the am, yoga in the pm. Junior students will be the opposite timings.
